What Is Cold Pressed?
Cold pressed juice refers to a fresh juice that is made by using a hydraulic press to extract the juice from vegetables and fruits. Our Juice is made without pasteurization and therefore, leaves intact vital nutrients that would otherwise be destroyed in that process.
Because no heat is applied during the extraction process, the low level of oxidation results in a juice that is flavorful, colorful and nutrient rich.
What does it do?
Consuming straight vegetable and fruit juice skips the need for your body to work overtime to access essential vitamins and nutrients. Juice allows you to eat large quantities of super foods, such as kale, that would otherwise require you to chew through a mountain of leaves. Raw whole vegetables also contain cellulose, a fiber that is poorly digested by humans. Unlike cows and other ruminants, humans simply do not have the enzymes in our bodies necessary to properly digest this fiber. When you consume a plate full of vegetables, your body only absorbs a portion of the vitamins and nutrients present as your body has to “chew” through the fibers to get to the “good stuff”. Our cold pressed method helps your body skip this step of “chewing”.
